WELCOME TO CENTRAL OREGON
This beautiful area of varied landscapes from Snow Covered Mountains to the High Desert rock climbing and hiking trails makes for an adventurous backyard.
With World Class Golf Courses, over 370 inches of snow annually at Mt. Bachelor Ski Area and over 150 Lakes there is plenty to do and see here. And with over 300 Days of Sunshine, you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy these many diverse areas of Central Oregon.
Golf Digest considered Central Oregon to be one of the world’s greatest golf destinations. The River Canyons and Panoramic Views from many of the 25 courses provide an added bonus.
If you’d rather be on the water, try our flyfishing, river rafting and boating on the many lakes and rivers that cover this area. Go to my links page to rent equipment or hire a professional guide. With 500 miles of Rivers and Streams you will never get tired of the year round recreation. Both High Desert and Snow elevations for a nice change of scenery.
Mt. Bachelor Ski Resort and Hoodoo will keep you skiing for a long ski season. Or take to the road and travel down our Scenic Byways to places like: Smith Rock State Park, The Deschutes River, The Metolius River, The Crooked River, Tumalo Falls, The Cascade Mountains, the National Forests, Cove Palisades, Lake Billy Chinook, the Lava Caves and Lava Lands or go further out to Crater Lake and up to the Umpqua River and on over to the Pacific Ocean. Central Oregon is a great base for working or playing in the great Scenic State of Oregon.
